Penny Rimbaud, co-founder of Crass and a noted poet, writer, painter, multi-instrumentalist, has a new album out next month called Arthur Rimbaud in Verdun. The new album features Rimbaud's spoken lyrics over jazz-inspired tenor sax. The concept piece is fictional in nature and expores the journey of French poet Arthur Rimbaud (who died in 1891) at the battle of Verdun in 1916.
The record releases Nov. 20 on One Little Independent Records.
