Heretical Sect - Rapturous Flesh Consumed

Gilead Media will release Rapturous Flesh Consumed, a new LP by blackened death-doom collective Heretical Sect next month on Dec. 11. The LP releases on vinyl, cd, and digital formats with preorders open now.

Based in the American southwest, the album is the debut from Heretical Sect and presents a soundscape of the culture, albeit far from the stereotypical expectations often associated with the region, one that juxtaposes a history of brutality and grief against the more scenic landscapes.

The band has shared a lead single, ""Baptismal Rot and Ash," which debuted this week at Metal Injection. Watch the video below.

Track listing:

1. Rising Light of Lunacy
2. Baptismal Rot and Ash
3. The Depths of Weeping Infinity
4. Degradation Temple
5. Resurrection Sky
6. Ritual Inversion
