On July 16, The Flenser will release Luminol, a new album from Midwife -- led by multi-instrumentalist Madeline Johnston.

The first single will debut this weekend at Roadburn Redux, but we get a teaser today, shared after the bump.

The project began in 2015, leading to 2020's album, Forever. Following last year's album, Johnston was set for international touring to promote the album. The pandemic changed her course, leading her back to recording and, ultimately, Luminol, which is described as alternately dark and crystalline.
