American Television, a melodic punk band from Washington, DC, has a new 5-song EP of punk cover songs form across the genre's wide spectrum: Black Flag, Operation Ivy, Fugazi, Green Day, and Bad Religion.

The EP was inspired when the band recorded a cover of Operation Ivy's "Officer" for a Black Lives Matter-related compilation for Wiretap Records and the seed was planted for a larger project.

Check out their take of Black Flag's "Nervous Breakdown" below.

Track List:

1 · Nervous Breakdown (Black Flag cover)

2 · Officer (Operation Ivy cover)

3 · American Jesus (Bad Religion cover)

4 · Merchandise (Fugazi cover)

5 · Brain Stew / Jaded (Green Day cover)
