Next month the Black Halos return with a new 3-song EP called Uncommonwealth, released on the Toronto-based Cursed Blessings Records.

The band is currently based between Vancouver and Toronto and previously released records on Sub Pop. The band split up, but reformed in 2016 -- playing their first live shows again in 2019. In 2020, the lineup features original members Rich Jones, Billy Hopeless, and Jay Millette, plus bassist John Kerns (The Age Of Electric) and drummer Danni Action (Midnight Towers). Overall, their sound harkens more from the glam-influenced punk of early groups such as New York Dolls and Dead Boys.

The record is available for preorder now.
