Hexa, a joint ambient collaboration between Lawrence English (Room40) and Jamie Stewart (Xiu Xiu) is back the duo's second release and first since 2016. Titled Material Interstices, the new record releases on Oct. 15 on English's Room40 label.
HEXA, the sonic union of ambient maestro and Room40 label boss Lawrence English and Xiu Xiu’s frontman Jamie Stewart, has just announced “Material Interstices”, a new album coming out October 15th on Room 40. Generally speaking, the album was inspired by human sleep patterns, the natural world and states of consciousness. It will be released with an art book comprised of collages by English based on photography by Stewart.

Hexa's Factory photographs (2016) was a soundtrack to David Lynch art exhibition which took place at Brisbane’s Gallery of Modern Art in 2015.
