On Sept. 24, Insect Ark returns with a new EP, Future Fossils, to be release on Consouling Sounds. The new EP is a collection of archived solo outtakes, improv live tracks, and more, all recorded between 2016-2018.

The Dana Schechter solo project began in 2012 and released The Vanishing in 2020, pushing the project in a more collaborative direction with the addition of live drums.

Insect Ark expects to release two new full-lengths in the near future: an all solo, synth album and a duo/band album, both using the moniker.

Future Fossils Track Listing:

1. Oral Thrush
2. Gypsum Blade
3. Anopsian Volta
4. Gravitrons
