Formed by Leon Stackpole of the now-defunct Ooga Boogas, Power Supply is set to release their debut album on Oct. 22 on Goner Records.
The lineup for their debut features Mikey Young (Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Total Control), Leon Stackpole (Sailors, Ooga Boogas), Richard Stanley (Onyas, Drug Sweat) and Per Bystrum (Exhaustion, Voice Imitator) and has titled their debut In the Time of the Sabre Tooth Tiger. Initially formed as a trio, Young joined on second guitar to fill in the sound, though later was replaced for live shows by Bystrum due to other commitments.
