Naked Raygun releasing new album next month
Naked Raygun - Over the Overlords

For the first time in 31 years, the world gets a new Naked Raygun studio album. Titled Over the Overlords, the new album is the band's sixth full-length and first since Raygun...Naked Raygun in 1990. The current lineup features original member Jeff Pezatti on vocals, along with Eric Spicer, Bill Stephens, and Fritz Doreza taking over on bass to replace the late Pierre Kezdy. Kezdy plays on the record, but passed away in 2020 from cancer after the album was recorded.

Naked Raygun, often credited for coining the Chicago sound, was first active 1980-1992, disbanded and later reformed in 2006. The band has performed live and released material, but no full-lengths this millennium...until Over the Overlords on Oct. 15, courtesy of Wax Trax! Records.

The heavily influential Chicago band was born in 1980, disbanded in 1991, and been in semi-active reunion mode since … Read more
