The Lord cometh on Record Store Day (Greg Anderon)
The Lord - Forest Nocturne

Greg Anderson, under the name of The Lord [also of SUNN O))), Goatsnake, and Southern Lord records], will release an album of cinematic landscapes on April 23 as a Record Store Day special release, followed by a regular July 29 release on digital and LP formats. The album is titled Forest Nocturne.

The overall piece is described as heavy with tension, with doses of Scandinavian death metal with epic and fantasy elements.

The Lord is already planning a follow-up record, made in collaboration with Petra Haden (vocals, violin), due by the end of 2022.

A new song, "Triumph of the Oak" came out this week.
