Julia, Julia, the solo moniker of Julia Kugel of The Coathangers (and Soft Palms), will release her solo debut LP next month -- Derealization, which comes on Sept. 30 through Suicide Squeeze Records.
The new album is more explorative and atmospheric, when compared to Kugel's work with The Coathangers, on full display in the lead single, which was shared this week. Both projects are comparatively raw, albeit in different ways, as Julia, Julia is more emotional and introspective whereas The Coathangers explore the raw energy of rock 'n' roll.
