A new limited 6" record of Killing Joke covers is out, featuring Deaf Club's take on "The Wait" and Human Issue Music Collective's cover of "Wardance," limited to 100 copies via The Midnight Hour Records SGV in Covin and San Fernando and Three One G Records.

"We wanted to prove that we could focus our energy into a song with a more traditional structure," Deaf Club's Brian Amalfitano says in a press statement. "To kind of control the chaos for the listener and work within a set of parameters presented by another artist (which can sometimes be more freeing). It’s less frantic than our normal route but it lets people breathe in the sounds a bit more.”

The records are sold at The Midnight Hour Records locations in southern California, and will also be sold at live Deaf Club shows in November, as supplies last.

Amalfitano owns one of the two locations of The Midnight Hour, as discussed in this interview in our Don't Quit Your Day Job series.
