Venomous Concept is back in 2023, with the hardcore band featuring Kevin Sharp (Brutal Truth) and Shane Embury (Napalm Death) set to release album no. 5, The Good Ship Lollipop. The two members serve as the core of Venomous Concept since 2004, this time joined by John Cooke (Napalm Death) and Carl Stokes (ex-Cancer).
The record releases on Feb. 24, with the band sharing lead single "Voices" now (below).
Like most albums these days, the pandemic heavily influenced its tone, in this case managing darkness.
Venomous Concept last released Politics Versus the Erection in 2020 (Season of Mist).
