Dain Griffin soars back with solo record
Dain Griffin - Dead Flowers

Dain Griffin, formerly of Merit and Out of Reverie, has announced a new solo record called Dead Flowers, written with a pop-influenced emo take.

After focusing on family in recent years, Griffin returns with a solo record.

“I started writing this record right around the time I got sober, and it was very cathartic for me,” he says in a statement. "I had to find other ways to deal with my mental health other than self-medicating.”

Putting the pieces together from that, the record focuses on growing from one's twenties through their thirties.

The record will release on Feb. 3 on Hidden Home Records.
