No Alternative from 1980 (live)

Bay Area punk bank No Alternative will soon release an archival live recording from 1980, called Live at Mabuhay Gardens: November 7, 1980 via Liberation Hall record label's Sounds from the San Francisco Underground series. The record concludes with two unreleased studio tracks from the 1980-1982 era of the band.

The recording comes out June 9 on cd/digital with distribution via MVD Entertainment (USA) and Wienerworld (UK).

The lineup on this recording is Hugh Patterson (aka “John Genocide,” also of K.G.B. and the Offs) on lead vocals and guitar, Jeff Rees on bass and backing vocals, and Greg Langston on drums and backing vocals. The band will play on May 25 with Avengers and the Vaxxcines (Albany Room, San Francisco), with a lineup featuring Patterson and Langston alongside drummer John Hansen.
