Fotocrime is back with 10 new post-punk songs, driven by poignant beats and mood-setting synth tones. Take a darkwave base but with a deep array of styles form disco to electronic rock and minimalism at different points. Fotocrime falls within genre categorization but they make sure to always keep it interesting.
The band is comprised of vocalist/guitarist/producer Ryan Patterson (creator of Cat Magic Punks, owner of Shirt Killer, former singer/guitarist of Coliseum), guitarist Nick Thieneman (Young Widows), and bassist Will Allard.
The new record, Accelerated, is the band's fourth since their 2017 formation, and will be their first on Artoffact Records. It releases on Sept. 8.
