Percussive noise from members of Full of Hell + Hisham Akira Bharoocha
Sore Dream x Hisham Akira Bharoocha

July 28 marks the release date for a new collaboration from Sore Dream, a project featuring Dylan Walker and Spencer Hazard (both of Full of Hell), plus Hisham Akira Bharoocha.

The project combines elements of noise, electronic, and industrial music in a chaotic but controlled madness, on display in lead single "Blown Optics," which is worth calling out for its title alone.

“This record represents the spirit of collaboration and the organic blending of two musical projects into one hybrid piece of music,” Walker says in a press release. “It’s meant to be transportive and meditative. When you listen to the tracks, we’d like you to visualize a world being torn apart from the inside, the frailty of our planet, and the cruelty of our own hands.”

Sore Dream launched in 2020, featuring Walker and Hazard, releasing two albums prior to their latest effort, which adds Akira Bharoocha to the equation, adding human percussion and new depth.

It releases on Closed Casket Activities.

Sore Dream x Hisham Akira Bharoocha track listing:

  1. Blown Optics
  2. For a Colony of Mollusks
  3. Flames of Ruin
  4. Cordyceps
  5. Microoganic Genocide
  6. Crystal Downpour
  7. Earthy Inocybe
  8. Spores in Lungs
