Hardcore band Death Before Dishonor has shared the new single, "Master of None," the title track off a new 7" that also includes a b-side cover of "Sonic Reducer," originally by Dead Boys.

The new EP is their first new music in four years, releasing on long-time label Bridge Nine Records.

“‘Master of None’ is a showcase of what we consider all the best aspects of our sound. Songs to be sung in basements and festival fields all over the world. Lyrically, it is about breaking the shackles of mental manipulation. Most people can relate to the struggle of someone in their life wielding emotions or guilt against them. With this track, we’re taking aim at those who use these tactics to maintain control, and are providing an outlet for anyone ready to fight back,” says vocalist Bryan Harris, via press release.

The band has live dates scheduled for the coming months in both Europe and the US. (In Portland, ME tonight.)

Death Before Dishonor last released Unfinished Business in 2019.

Boston natives Death Before Dishonor really broke through with their 2007 full-length Count Me In.
