The story is the headline. Wax Donut Records has a new compilation coming out on March 15, a 1- song collection of covers of Jesus Lizard songs, with new renditions courtesy of Night Goat, Wipes, Bovine Nightmares, and more.
“The Jesus Lizard is indisputably one the most important punk rock bands in history” label head Morey Straus offers. “I hesitated on whether to take on something so ambitious, but I am very happy with the end result. This isn’t a replacement for Goat; this is a new way to enjoy the songs you know and love.”
It will release on LP and streaming platforms.
