August 9 is the newly announced release date for the eighth album from Bar Area metal band Mamaleek, titled Vida Blue and set to release on The Flenser. The new record marks the band's first release since the passing of keyboardist Eric Livingston, who passed away one year ago. While the album name is in reference to a former Oakland A's baseball player, the record itself is a tribute to Livingston.
