A date for Burnt Tapes

Burnt Tapes is back, sharing single #2 from their upcoming second album. The new single is called "You Only YOLO Once," posted below, from New Lungs, which comes out on August 8 on Wiretap Records / Lockjaw Records / Nasty Cut Records.

“While stuck in a loop of anxiety and depression, leading to more anxiety and more depression, leading to insomnia but also physical pain throughout my body, I decided to write the ultimate party song about it, in the hope I'd be able to play it live one day should I get through this," Phil G. of the band says. "That party song was 'You only YOLO once,' a play on the old cliche to live each day to the max but also your brain can really fuck you up sometimes.”

Formed in Athens, Greece, the band previously released Never Better in 2019, along with multiple EPs. They previously shared "Mothersguilt" from their upcoming record as well.
