William Covert Trio, an avant-garde noise rock project out of Chicago, IL, has announced an EP called Dream Void, out July 25. The instrumental record was composed by Covert, who is joined on the recording by Nathan Schenck (Coma Regalia) on bass and Jack McKevitt (ex-Split Tongue with Seb Alvarez of meth.) on guitar. Covert also plays entirely solo via looping guitars and synths with free jazz-inspired drums over the top.
The first single, "Ghosts of the Civil Dead," is out now.
