New Jersey band Good Teal has announced August 15 as the release date for their debut EP, a self-titled record four years after their formation.
The band, described as "hardcore meets garage rock," has released two singles previously -- and now a third, which will be on the new EP, "Parasites!"
“‘Parasites’ chronicles the pendulum of emotions we go through when we have to say goodbye to something/someone we wanted. The ‘airport’ serves as a metaphor for the place we go in our heads before we leave a relationship. The titular ‘Parasites’ represent all the small things eating us up inside that can keep us from being fully present,” vocalist/bassist Reg Mason says via press release.
Mason is joined in Good Teal by Shane Stanton (drums), Curt Grayson (rhythm guitar/keyboards), and Alex Goldenthal (guitar).
