Detroit, MI punk band Big Life just shared a cover of Hüsker Dü's "Something I Learned Today," the first single from a new EP called The Cost of Progress. The EP comes out on August 1 on Setterwind Records.

As for Big Life, the band includes members of Black Dahlia Murder, Thunderbirds Are Now!, Extra Arms, and more, playing angry and hardcore-influenced punk.

"[The EP] paints a picture of the real dystopian nightmare we are currently living through, and tackles everything from corporate greed and the dangers of AI to the terrifying reality of our climate disaster. Real cheery stuff...but it also fucking ROCKS," the band says.
