Strawberry, the latest from Prayer Group, will release on August 29 via Reptilian Records as a 10" vinyl with 7 tracks.
The noise-rock band from Richmond, VA shared a single earlier this week, "Plagiarism," which you can hear below.
Reptilian Records presents Strawberry, the corrosive new 10” MLP from Richmond, Virginia noisemongers PRAYER GROUP.
The band formed a decade ago in 2014, coming from a lineage of Equestrians, Kingshead, Gifts From Enola, and more, leaning into noise-rock with punk and post-hardcore influence. The current lineup features vocalist Matt Voegel, guitarist Nate Dominy, drummer Anthony Stout, and new bassist Carl Kranz (Au Revoir).
“Strawberry is like a lot of kids. We rushed to start making it before we knew what we were doing, had to figure everything out along the way, and wound up with this weird little 10” with this weird little boy on the cover. It's not its fault; it's just like that,” the band says.
