Los Angeles, CA based fuzzy indie rock band Fime shared the sine single "Soft Sicence" last week, an early taste of the upcmoing Just Can't Win, which will release on Sept. 5.
The band, featuring East Bay transplants Beto Brakmo (vocals/guitar), Maxine Garcia (vocals/bass), and Eric Promani (drums), plus guitarist Scott Leahy describe the new album as, perhaps, their densest record in terms of subject matter.
“I think the record is about reality,” Brako says in a press statement. “This is how it is and the only thing you can do is accept it. We will only ever lose money on music, but we drag that boulder back up the hill anyway. Even a band like ours with virtually zero major success can make a work of art despite the lack of ability to win at this game.”
