Maura Weaver has announced her second solo record, Strange Devotion, out on Sept. 19 on Feel It Records.

While Weaver has played with Mixtapes, The Homeless Gospel Choir, and others, the new record takes a turn into emotive pop with influence from artists such as The Magnetic Fields, Teenage Fanclub, Liz Phair, Elliott Smith, and Prince.

Weaver released I Was Due For A Heartbreak in 2023. SPB caught up with her prior to FEST 21
