Earlier this year Austin, TX group Gus Baldwin & The Sketch released The Sketch. Now, frontman Baldwin is back with a solo wingle called "Cherrywood," coming from an upcoming self-titled solo album -- his solo debut.
The solo album runs parallel to The Sketch's garage and punk leanings, with a new spin befitting of a separate project.
“Each song on the record is a different piece of me trying to figure out who I was, and how the world was changing around me,” Baldwin says about the record. “It’s a document of my early 20s.”
The album will release on Oct. 24 on Permanent Teeth.
