Left For Dead Records has another rescued album on the way: 1979 Sire Sessions by NYC punk band Rousers. The recordings will be available on vinyl and CD on Oct. 14.
The recordings comes from the band's early demos with the band's original lineup of vocalist Jeff Buckland, rhythm guitarist Bill Dickson, bassist John Hannah, lead guitarist Tom Milmore, and drummer Jerid O'Connell, recorded in Sire's basement studio on New York’s Upper West Side in 1979. It is a 13 song collection of previously unreleased recordings from the band.
