Hardcore band Overthrow has announced a new album coming on Oct. 3, Setting the Price.

The band, formed in Long Island, NY in 1995, disbanded in 2001, later resurfacing for live shows. Eventually, a reunion show with Strife and Shutdown in 2022 inspired the band to record new material, leading to the new album in 2025.

“The new album is a reflection of both personal and collective growth -- from struggle, resilience, and a need to move forward with clarity and strength. At its core, it’s about overcoming adversity and carving out a stronger, more intentional path after setbacks. We touch on themes of personal loss -- acknowledging pain without being consumed by it -- and how those experiences shaped us into who we are now. There’s a sense of learning from the past, not just surviving it," says vocalist Chris Ruffini.

The band features a lineup of Overthrow is Ruffini (vocals), Anthony Salerno (guitar), Steve Puccio (guitar), Rich D (drums) and Mike Musilli (bass), with bass on the record by Dan Ciccotto.

Setting the Price tracklist:

2. Anywhere But Here
