Single Mothers' Drew Thomson has a new project underway, Smug LLC, with debut EP New Exciting Doom out on Oct. 6 on Anxious & Angry. The EP features 6 new songs.
Thomson has released 6 LPS, and 20+ EPs in his various projectrs, which also include The Drew Thomson Foundation, leading up to the present.
“The concept of a ‘laptop band’ was born during those months and years when going out wasn’t really an option and collaboration felt impossible,” Thomson says via press release. Beginning with loop-based, minimalistic songs, the project grew.
