The Hellacopters and Spiders have teamed up for the new 2-song covers record "Melody" and "My Obsession," two New York Dolls covers in honor of the late David Johansen, who passed awy earlier this year.
Proceeds from the release benefit the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund created David Johansen Memorial Fund. It releases via Wild Kingdom Records/Sound Pollution and will be a vinyl only release.
