Murals, a new band featuring members of Hail The Sun, Sufferer, and slenderbodies, has announced a 7-song EP out on Nov. 14 on Equal Vision Records.
The trio of Shane Gann (guitar/vocals), Blake Dahlinger (drums) and Tony Bautista (bass/vocals), play progressive hardcore, on display in "tough" a new single out today.
As the legend goes:
In 2015, Gann approached Dahlinger about playing drums for a project called Sufferer -- a standalone album about a day-in-the-life with anxiety and depression. Gann and Dahlinger would later recruit Bautista as the touring bassist for Sufferer, which also led them to invite him back to be involved with Murals. The pandemic changed Sufferer’s trajectory, and the group saw a broader set of opportunities opening up with Murals, so they decided to explore those.
Their first live show takes place next week in San Antonio, TX, with more dates to come soon.
