Bratmobile The Real Janelle b/w The Peel Session

A limited reissue of Bratmobile's The Real Janelle & The Peel Session will come out on Nov. 28 for Record Store Day, releasing via Kill Rock Stars.

The record combines The Real Janelle, originally released in 1994 as a 12" EP/CD, with The Peel Session, a live studio recording with John Peel at the BBC in July 1993, originally pressed on CD in a small 1994 run.

“Both The Real Janelle and The Peel Session were recorded within a month of each other, representing a slice of Bratmobile life in the summer of ‘93, so it makes perfect sense to rerelease them together in one package,” Allison Wolfe says in a statement. “I’m especially psyched for The Peel Session since the recording quality is so good and it’s been nearly impossible to find (I don’t even own a copy!).
