Comprised of members of Tortoise, Come, and Rex, the acoustic band's line features Ken “Bundy K.” Brown (Tortoise/Directions in Music), Curtis Harvey (Rex), Chris Brokaw (Come), and Doug McCombs (Tortoise/Eleventh Dream Day), and drummer Tim Barnes, debuting in 1998 and last releasing Viewfinder in 2001.
Notably, Barnes has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s and continued to work on the album as it was composed between 2021-2023.
