Two Alan Vega solo records will be reissued in early 2026: his first solo albums, Alan Vega and Collision Drive, plus a companion deluxe edition with remastered audio, demos, photos, and more. The reissues are part of a collaboration between The Vega Vault Project and Sacred Bones Records.
The two albums were originally released in 1980 and 1981, respectively.
The Vega Vault Project was initiated by collaborator Liz Lamere, and Jared Artaud, and previously released the lost album Murator (2021) and a collection of recordings titled Insurrection (2024), leading to the present. A third collection of unreleased material, tentatively titled Ascension Dive, is in the works.
