Outer Battery Records will be releasing a live recording from 20+ years ago, Void's Live 1982, featuring a lost recording of the DC hardcore band. The record will release on March 6.
The band formed in Columbia, MD and played their first show in 1980 at the first-ever Wilson Center show, a 15 band showcase set up by Bad Brains.
Live 1982 captures the band two years later. The A-side is from another set at the Wilson Center, recorded before the band's split LP with Faith, and the b-side is from a 9:30 Club shows in December 1982. Both were recorded by Tom Lyle of Government Issue.
