David Hillyard & The Rocksteady 7 are almost Home For Dinner

David Hillyard & The Rocksteady 7 has announced a new full-length album of jazz-tinged ska from the New York collective. The record will be titled Home For Dinner, out Feb. 20 via Org Music.

Hillyard, best known as a memer of The Slackers, formed the project in 1992. The new LP includes guest vocalists Chris Murray, BNegão, and Felipe Machado; keyboard work from Roger Rivas (The Aggrolites), Vic Ruggiero, and Mike Sarason; and backing vocals from Chiquis Lozoya and the late Greg Lee -- an extended family reunion of members of The Slackers, The Aggrolites, and Hepcat.
