Beth Seymour continues a busy 2026, with her Melbourne-based hardcore punk band La Famiglia releasing Alphabet Mafia, the band's first new album in two years.

"[It] comes after a hiatus while vocalist Beth Seymour came out as transgender," Seymour tells us. "This album reflects that experience, exploring themes of dysphoria, religious trauma, bigotry and acceptance. The band play classic hardcore punk, mixing influences from Madball, Gallows, Dag Nasty, Comeback Kid and GLOSS."

Seymour shared a little more depth on it in this One Question Interview with SPB.

Alphabet Mafia is out on June 12.
