To release on Second Engine Records (US) and Best Life (UK), Atlanta band Muelas has a new EP on the way: Bellow, out on July 17.
“I wanted to be in a band where I could scream about my feelings, let all of my sadness and rage out. As a proud child of Mexican Immigrants, I have a lot to say. My lyrics are political because my existence is political. I can’t escape it.. I refuse to be silent and I hope I can provide at least a moment where people can also let out their anguish," vocalist/violinist Susy Reyes says of the band, whose sound is loosely described as hardcore with a myriad of cultural influences.
