A new ska collective called The Family Busineses Ltd has shared news of an album on Hellcat Records, out Sept. 25.
The lineup on the first single features Jordan Cardy (Rat Boy), Preston (The Ordinary Boys), and Antonee First Class (The English Beat), joined by Tim Armstrong and Jesse Michaels (both formerly of Operation Ivy) on this particular track.
As lore has it, "Cardy and Preston first met in Essex in 2014, and in 2023 ended up in Los Angeles writing together with Tim," a press release states.
Members of The Calamtix also appear throughout the record, steeped in two-tone sounds.
