Sliimo returns to earth with a brand new record, a self-titled (2026) effort that expands on the band’s sludge/stoner space metal. Described as “a sci-fi space metal band from the moon of Nar Shaddaa, but way of Providence, RI,” the mission is “to show that goofy freaks have a place on earth and beyond.”
Their previous release was entirely in Huttese, but this time they’ve chosen Galactic Basic (English) on this 5-track album about space fights, radiation storms, and more.
Listen below and pick it up on Sept. 11 from Tor Johnson Records, with a free record release show the following day for those near Rhode Island.
