California indie-punk duo The Darién Gap has shared "Slow Cooker," the first single form a new EP. The band last released Launted Lots back in 2023.
The Darién Gap is multi-instrumentalist Mike Thompson and songwriter Brian Moss (The Wunder Years, The Ghost, Hanalei, and Great Apes).
"'Slow Cooker' is an exploration of a fractured relationship mirrored by an inhospitable desert landscape and a cultural wasteland. The song features a character that is crippled by the acceptance of hopelessness and failure, aging, self-medication, and avoidance," Moss says in a press release.
The new 5-song EP is called In Miniature, out Nov. 6 via the band.
