Benefit Show For Texas Hardcore Promoter's Family

Posted by Michael on March 6, 2010

A benefit concert is being held in support of Texas hardcore promoter Willow, whose father past away recently.  The show takes place March 13th in Houston, TX at Walter’s on Washington. Show time is 5:00 PM and the cost is $10.  Band performing include: Iron Age, Bitter End, Power Trip, Pride Kills, The Weight of Respect, Golden Axe, Killer Ape, Roots of Exile, One Against Many, and Hardside.  Here is statement made by Willow:

I know I'm contacting you late for this but I guess better than never. My father unexpectedly passed away on February 5 from liver failure. He never told my brother or I that he had cirrhosis of the liver. Well being the oldest son all responsibility fell on me. I had to take out a loan from my credit union to pay for the funeral. I have asked all my friends in the Texas hardcore community if they can help me pay off this debt. I have a benefit show set up Saturday March 13. What I'm emailing you for is to see if you would mind contacting labels of bands we work with to see if they would donate anything that I could use in a raffle. Anything would help . I'm including my address just in case. Thanks for you consideration.   2206 1/2 Lou Ellen Ln. #A Houston, TX 770
