A benefit concert is being hosted to help Mike Roche, founding bassist of T.S.O.L., as he battles ongoing costs of a battle against Parkinson’s disease and dementia. The show, taking place Nov. 7 at Garden Amphitheatre in Garden Grove, CA, will include The Offspring, Pennywise, Circle Jerks, Adolescents, Guttermouth, Change Today, Mainliners, Death By Stereo, Love Canal, and Dissension.
“Mike Roche is basically the reason I’m playing in a punk band,” Pennywise’s Fletcher Dragge says in a statement. “T.S.O.L. was the first ‘real’ punk show I ever attended and after watching Roche and the band play, I decided there and then I was going to be in a band. He’s been a huge part of the punk scene for more than 40 years, and he’s influenced countless musicians, and more than that, he’s a great person and friend."
Tickets go on sale this Friday.
