MC50 among Muddy Roots Festival headliners

The Muddy Roots Music Festival will take place August 30-September 1 this year in Cookebille, TN, with a diverse lineup of more than 70 bands. Notable headliners include a revised MC5 lineup now going by the moniker MC50, Face to Face, Off!, Municipal Waste, GZA (with live band), and new projects featuring John Garcia and Nick Oliveri, The Adicts, The Skatalites, and more.

MC50's lineup includes Kim Thayil (Soundgarden), Brendan Canty (Fugazi), Billy Gould (Faith No More), and Marcus Durant (Zen Guerilla).

Scheduled for Nov. 7-10, 2019, Levitation has unveiled phase 2 of lineup announcements for the annual Austin, TX festival. Big names -- and there are many -- include The Flaming Lips, Flipper (with David Yow), The Coathangers, Windhand, Tobacco, Deafheaven, Russian Circles, Chelsea Wolfe, Kurt Vile & the Violators, and many many more.

The ffestival takes place in multiple venues across downtown Austin's Red River Cultural District and in East Austin, TX.
