Rancid and Dropkick Murphys will embark on the Boston to Berkeley II tour this May, joined on most of the dates by Gerry Cinnamon and Jesse Ahern.

The trek between the two long-running, formed-in-the-1990s punk bands kicks off on May 4 in Richmond, VA and wraps up on May 24 in Lewiston, NY. Curiously, the tour doesn't stop in Boston or Berkeley according to the tour poster/announcement (after the jump).

Mostly it just makes me feel old, which is also how their last album, (the disappointing) Honor Is All We … Read more

Honor Is All We Know
Epitaph (2014)

For years I was the biggest Rancid fan. The first record I didn’t buy on its release date was B-Sides & C-Sides, and that’s because I already had the songs. I was an unapologetic completest. As the post-2000 records have been coming, I became an apologetic completest. I bought the double album version of Let the Dominoes Fall and spun … Read more

The band has developed a fiercely devoted following through their energetic live shows, sing-a-long choruses, and unbreakable spirits. The Dropkicks made their mainstream introduction through the song "Shipping Out To Boston" which featured heavily … Read more
