Originally formed in 1993 as a Screeching Weasel side project for Dan Vapid, and morphing over time as that band's trajectory changed, The Methadones have announced their first Chicago show in 5 years, plus a stop in St. Louis and two dates overseas this summer.

The band broke up in 2010, reunited for only two shows since (in 2011 and 2015). The group released a self-titled compilation last year on Asian Man Records (which included new material).

The current lineup features Dan Vapid, Simon Lamb on guitar, Mike Soucy on drums, and Pete Mittler on bass.

UPCOMING SHOWS:

5/29 @ Red Flag: St Louis, MO w/ Hospital Job
6/27 @ Chop Shop: Chicago, IL w/ Direct Hit!
7/16 - 7/18 @ Back To Future Fest: Germany
7/16 - 7/19 @ Punk Rock Raduno: Italy
