Set to premiere at this year's SXSW Festival in Austin, TX, The Mars Volta and At The Drive-In are the center of a new documentary titled Omar and Cedric: If This Ever Gets Weird. The documentary pieces together personal footage over the years, focusing on the friendship between the two musicians (Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala) for more than 20 years. It was directed by Nicolas Jack Davies and produced by Johann Scheerer of Clouds Hill Films in association with Pulse Films. Autlook Filmsales has acquired international rights for its release.
