SPB: Besides music, what other arts interest you?
Mead: I love comedy writing, film, and film history. I love finding someone who can run lines from weird old movies with me. I have a lot of ideas for films, a few sci-fi and comedy ones that I would love to write the screenplays for sometime. I also love industrial arts like woodworking and auto body. I make and repair guitars now, and I did auto body for a number of years before that. Guitar repair and refinishing is really similar to auto body, there’s a lot of overlap between those two worlds.
Before auto body I was really into holistic health, I was planning on being a holistic health practitioner, but that turned more just something for myself and I never really ended up working in that field. I still use the things that I learned in the holistic health school everyday, there’s lots of helpful tips for staying healthy on tour and in everyday life.
